The Annual Gathering for 2004 took place at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas. My duties as Regional Vice Chair for the Middle Atlantic states for Mensa kept me quite busy in meetings during most of the convention, so I didn’t get much time to meet and greet with my worldwide friends in the organization. We accomplished much at the Annual Business Meeting and the AMC meeting, and we laid the groundwork for a lot more work that we need to do within the next year.
Before and after the meetings, I got a little time to do some sightseeing. The strip is a sight to behold, the Hoover Dam is impressive, and there is a little canyon about one half hour outside of Las Vegas that was equally as impressive. There are pictures on the following pages.
